Join us for an educational program featuring varieties of rescued Northern California bats. Visit with volunteers trained in bat rescue techniques & rehab and ask those questions about bats you've been curious about all your life. July 8 11 am @ Fort Bragg Library.

Harry Potter Teen Lock-In — We are pleased to inform you that if you are a teen in Years Three to Seven (ages 13 to 18), you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, cleverly disguised as the Fort Bragg Library. Experience an entire magical school year in one after-hours program — from Sorting to the Yule Ball. Earn points for your house (Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, or Slytherin) by attending Potions and other classes, as well as by doing a Hogsmeade scavenger hunt and playing Table Quidditch. Pizza, refreshments, and materials will be provided. Pre-registration and parent/guardian permission are required for teens to attend. Fort Bragg Library is delighted to present The Fratello Marionettes in a special performance of Carnival of the Animals. This fanciful score serves as a canvas for presenting three classic storybook fairy tales- the 'Three Little Pigs', the 'Tortoise and the Hare', and the 'Ugly Duckling'. Utilizing a unique performance style, the puppet and puppeteer are seen in full view of the audience on a raised stage. These classic fables interwoven against the backdrop of Carnival of the Animals is the perfect vehicle for The Fratello Marionettes to both educate and delight. Aug. 8 @ 6 pm.
