Mendo Seed Talks

Welcome to Mendo Seed Talks

Here is the first of a few seasonal garden videos that we have been making to help our community learn about seed saving. In this video you will learn a lot about garlic from local garden teacher Carolyn Brown. And it is still not too late plant some in your garden!

For more gardening and seed saving tips, please follow our Seed Library on Facebook.

To participate in Mendocino County Seed Libraries Curbside Pick-up Program, check-out our Mendocino County Library website.

Fort Bragg Seed Library Curbside Pick-up Program information is available here as well.

So, what are you waiting for? Get growing; we’re here to help!

Our Seed Libraries are your spot for gardening information and free vegetable, herb, and flower seeds.

The Seed Libraries are housed in each of the individual Mendocino County Branch Libraries and the Bookmobile. We are supported by the County, our Friends groups, and with volunteer help from local gardeners like you. Our mission is to encourage a thriving community of gardeners and seed savers and our Seed Libraries offer seeds and education.

Seeds at the Mendocino County Seed Libraries are free to members of our community.

Each library has resources on gardening and seed saving available for check out. You can also find information on beginning seed saving in the “Notes” section here on our Facebook page.
