Buzz on over to Fort Bragg Library for a Bee City Read-Aloud Fun Day! Learn all about bees, their benefits to our crops, to the environment and to our lives, at this fun, bee-themed event. The fun begins at 10:30 with a Read-Aloud by Bee City, USA, then a bee related craft from 11-Noon. We'll take a little break then welcome Uncle Jer's Traveling Bee Show from 2-3 pm. It's going to be a beezy day! See you there!

In honor of National Pollinator Week, Fort Bragg Library and Bee City USA, present the NOVA film, Bees: Tales from the Hive. Literally filmed inside a hive and out, while following bees in flight to capture closeups of honeybee behavior, this incredible cinematographic masterpiece is a must see. June 16, 2017, 4-6 pm.

The Fratello Marionettes ~ a Summer Reading Event

Fort Bragg Library is delighted to present The Fratello Marionettes in a special performance of Carnival of the Animals. This fanciful score serves as a canvas for presenting three classic storybook fairy tales- the 'Three Little Pigs', the 'Tortoise and the Hare', and the 'Ugly Duckling'. Utilizing a unique performance style, the puppet and puppeteer are seen in full view of the audience on a raised stage. These classic fables interwoven against the backdrop of Carnival of the Animals is the perfect vehicle for The Fratello Marionettes to both educate and delight. Aug. 8 @ 6 pm.
