GrantFinder

Access to GrantFinder is free to Mendocino County Library patrons. Patrons can access GrantFinder from any compatible device with internet access, using the credentials below. Patrons can also access the database at any of our branch locations by requesting log-in information from staff.

GrantFinder is an incredibly user-friendly database of grants and foundation funding for municipalities and non-profit entities.

It allows you to search for grants by funder name, type (Federal, State, Foundation, or Corporate), & the state the funder is located in.

GrantFinder allows you to search for funding opportunities using a keyword search, browsing by or limiting a search to a category (Arts/Humanities, Community Development, Education & Schools, Emergency Response, Environments & Parks, Healthcare Services, Housing, Public Works & Planning, Public Safety/Justice, Transportation, Technology & IT, Water/Wastewater, Workforce Development, & Community Development), specifying deadline details, (e.g. application is ongoing or due by, before, after, during, etc.), stipulating if there is a matching requirement, specifying geographic details (administering state, geographic coverage), limiting results by applicant (e.g. town/city/county government, non-profit, or PreK-12 educational agency), and any combination thereof.

To log in, please use one of the four username and password combinations below. Please note that usernames and passwords are case-sensitive.
