Then we’ll feature Salmon Talk at 2:00 pm with local expert, Michael Miller, to learn all about these fascinating underwater miracles followed by two films, The Memory of Fish and Salmon: Running the Gauntlet. Join us for Wild About Salmon!

Guest speaker Bio:

Michael Miller is a well-known local advocate for Salmon Restoration. He promotes education and awareness of habitat ecology through a website: salmonrestoration.com/salmon-restoration-association.

“The group’s goal is to take positive, measurable action to restore the natural wild salmon runs to rivers of Northern California. Their present concern is the renovation of local streams to their natural health condition. Projects on the Noyo and Big Rivers are the main focus. They also educate the public about salmon population issues, both in streams and the ocean. The primary funding comes from the annual local event: The World’s Largest Salmon Barbecue.”
