Kids (up to 8 years old) and their grown-ups, Come celebrate the start of Fort Bragg Library’s Downtown StoryWalk® with snacks, piñatas (@2pm), and books for your home library! While at the event, you can get a sneak peak of the book and pick-up a StoryWalk® map.
Downtown StoryWalk® begins April 15th and runs through May 3rd.
What is a StoryWalk®?
A story walk is pages from a picture book that are pasted on yard signs or in shop windows and set up along a walking path for children to follow.
At Fort Bragg Library’s Downtown StoryWalk®, families can walk their way through the book Diminuta by Silvina Rocha by visiting participating locations. Start at the library and follow the map in order, reading more pages of the giant book at the different stops along the way. Kids 0-8 can collect a special prize at the last stop!
