Considered by some to be Hitchcock’s best, this indisputable masterpiece from 1943 is a psychological thriller set in Santa Rosa, CA, an idyllic pre-War American town.  With an original script written by Thornton Wilder, the story follows Charlotte Newton, a bored teenager who’s thrilled when her favorite uncle shows for an unexpected visit.  But the visit soon goes sour, even dangerous, when Charlotte discovers secrets that show her the true nature of her beloved uncle.

 Shadow of a Doubt stars Joseph Cotton, Theresa Wright and MacDonald Carey (Days of Our Lives).
