Join us First Friday, May 5, 2017, 4-6 pm for a screening of Waste Land, a documentary by filmmaker Lucy Walker. Unemployed recycling 'experts', aka catadores, at Brazil's Jardim Gramacho, the world's largest landfill, are featured in this "art documentary". New York artist, Vik Muniz delves into the lives of the catadores, inviting them to share their finds in his New York art displays.
