Got a new device and you can’t figure out how to get it to do what you want?

Just need help with library apps?

Well, you’re in luck! Chris Little, longtime Friend and volunteer of the library, is offering free, guided tech help most Thursdays.

Chris offers one-on-one help with:
► eBooks & library related streaming media
► basic laptop / tablet / smartphone help
► basic email & social media
► basic software & internet help

Currently, three appointment slots are available—1:00-1:45; 1:45-2:30 & 2:30-3:15.

LearningExpress Library – Computer Skills Center: Fundamentals of computers, the Internet and popular software applications with easy-to-follow video tutorials.

Northstar Digital Literacy – Included are basic computer digital literacy standards and modules in three main areas: Essential Computer Skills, Essential Software Skills, and Using Technology to Accomplish Tasks.

LinkedIn Learning – Video tutorials available for basic computer skills, computer literacy, email, and much more.

GetSetUp – Offers a variety of classes on essential life-changing skills from professional development (jobs & technology), health, wellness and hobbies taught by older adults. For ages 55+ only.
