Basket Making fundraiser was a great success!

The Friends of the Fort Bragg Library’s Basket-Making fundraiser was a great success!

A huge thank you goes out to Erika Mills and all who attended the Friend of the Fort Bragg Library’s Basket-Making fundraiser. In total, this event raised over $900 for the Friends.

Erika, artist extraordinaire, graciously volunteered 5 hours of her time to teach eager participants the fine art of pine needle basket weaving, and boy, did they have fun! Check out the photos to see what they accomplished.

Yes, they still have a long way to go, but, hey, it’s a start!
