Mr Penumbra’s 24-Hour Bookstore by Robin Sloan

An entertaining story about an out of work web designer who gets a job working nights at a 24 hour San Fransisco book store.  Working nights, he begins to encounter some oddities which leads him to investigate more about the book store and its owner. His curiosity takes him to Google and a secret society.
