CalWORKs Housing Programs The CalWORKs program provides temporary and permanent housing assistance to families at risk of homelessness. Those impacted by COVID-19 may be eligible for additional CalWORKs Homeless Assistance.  For more information, call:  Fort Bragg 1-877-327-1677 or Ukiah 1-877-327-1711

Housing Services – Child Welfare Information Gateway Limited funds are available to support low-income families at risk of eviction or in need of down-payment assistance.  This program may also assist limited term motel/hotel vouchers.  Email efas_outreach@mendocinocounty.org for more information.

California Mortgage Relief Program Homeowners who have lost income or their jobs because of the corona virus outbreak may be eligible to have their mortgage payments reduced or suspended for up to 12 months.  Homeowners should contact their mortgage lender to find out more.

Street Medicine – open to all in need of basic health care, support and referrals on Wednesdays, 9am to 11:30am, at the Hospitality Center, 101 N. Franklin Street, Fort Bragg.  Clients are being seen in the Old Coast Cafe, where proper social distancing can be maintained.

Hospitality Clinic – provider for adult mental health services to those with Medi-Cal. We offer a variety of services including individual therapy, family therapy, individual rehabilitation, case management, collateral, assessment, and plan development.

Transportation:

Wheelchair-accessible fixed-route public bus transportation throughout Mendocino County plus daily connections with Sonoma County Transit, Santa Rosa City Bus, AMTRAK, and Golden Gate Transit for regional service to Marin and San Francisco Counties in Santa Rosa.

Also, daily connections with the Sonoma County Airport Express t the Sonoma County Airport for service to and from the Bay Area airports. In Ukiah, MTA connects with Lake Transit service to and from Lake County.

Dial-A-Ride  – Dial-A-Ride curb-to-curb services in Ukiah and Fort Bragg and one flex route: The Local 9 pm Service in Ukiah. Reduced fares for seniors and passengers with certain disabilities who show an authorized MTA Transit discount card at time of travel. All MTA buses are wheelchair accessible. Redwood Coast Senior Center Bus  Provides low cost door-to-door transportation on the Coast from Cleone to Caspar for individuals age 60+ or all persons with a disability. Wheelchair-lift equipped.
