July 12th Last Day to Request Items
Due to the Library’s migration of data from the current system to Polaris from July 27 through August 4, the last day to place requests will be July 12th. Once the migration is complete, requests can resume.
Other restrictions applied during the migration:
- Patrons must bring their library card to check out materials.
- The online catalog will be unavailable.
- New library cards cannot be issued.
- Materials cannot be checked in.
- Renewals will not be available.
- Fines and fees cannot be paid.
To minimize inconvenience, between June 29 and July 26, due dates on new check-outs are extended to six weeks. Patrons are welcome to keep their newly checked-out materials until the new system is fully operational (items checked out before June 29 are due on the dates listed at the time of original check-out and will auto-renew up to 3 times if no one else has requested them).
All services are tentatively scheduled to return to normal on August 5, when Polaris, the new online catalog, and the mobile app officially go live.
