Sakina has been gardening on the coast for almost two decades. She formerly taught vocational horticulture for Mendocino County schools, and for many years, she owned and operated Sakina’s Garden Nursery, where she sold a variety of starts. Most would recognize her as a mainstay at Fort Bragg Farmer’s Market.
