Library Cards

Library cards are for all ages. Even very young children can receive a free library card. A library card means the child can check out library materials and use library computers.
To get a library card, a form must be signed by a parent or legal guardian with a valid CA-issued ID.
**Please be aware that the library does not restrict or monitor what a child reads, watches, or listens to. That responsibility belongs to the child’s grown-ups.

Internet and Children

Children 8 and older may use the public internet or public wi-fi at the library.  Children under 8 must be accompanied by a grown-up.
It is up to the child’s grown-up to monitor a child’s library internet use.
**Please be aware that the library does not use parental software or other blocking tools.
