Summer Reading Update

Summer Reading Update

In mid June, over one hundred and fifty letters were sent to parents of children who participated in the last three years of Summer Reading Challenges. Of those one hundred and fifty, eighty-three kids have signed up and received their Cowlick’s Ice Cream Certificate and eleven of those challengers have completed the quest and collected their prize, a free book!

It’s not too late to sign up for Summer Reading. Join in the fun and get a free book (if you are a child, 0-17, you’ll also receive an ice cream coupon!). If you don’t already have one, come pick up an age appropriate Summer Reading Log at our RETURNS area (Community Room door) T-F 11-3 or give us a call (707-964-2020) and we’ll provide a Summer Reading Challenge game kit for you at our Curbside table.

You can also participate online at mendolibrary.beanstack.org where you can win badges and have fun with other participants. At Beanstack, you can also write reviews on your favorite titles. Once you’ve completed the challenge, make arrangements with the library at the phone number above to come and pick up your prize!
