Sadly, we have to say goodbye to our Children’s and Teen Services Librarian, Elizabeth. Elizabeth has accepted a position at a library in Washington state and will be leaving us on August 13. While this is a good move for her personally, it is a difficult one for us for we have to say goodbye to an endeared member of the library staff.
Elizabeth took on the role of Fort Bragg Library’s Youth Services Librarian nearly 4 years ago, organized twice-weekly story times, youth book clubs, designed our Teen Lounge and planned many, many programs and events held at the library. The Nanowrimo program, which saw the budding of 75+ published authors under the age of 18, will continue to be our largest achievement and her legacy for years to come.
Join us for a bon voyage party here at the library, August 3, 2016, 6-7 pm, to say farewell and wish Elizabeth good luck in her future endeavors.
GOOD LUCK, ELIZABETH!! We miss you already.
