SUMMARY:Nailed It! Adult Crafting with Amie
DESCRIPTION:Nailed It! Adult Crafting with Amie\nSaturday\, April 5\, 2025\, 2-3:30 pm\nProject: Eggcellent Wreaths\n*Space is limited. Sign-ups are required. To sign up\, call 707-964-2020 or drop by the library during open hours. \nNailed It! is a program for those of us who aren’t comfortable with our crafting skills and just want to have fun attempting something new. \nLibrary Tech\, Amie\, is admittedly crummy at crafting but loves to try anyway and she knows there are others out there with similar sentiments. So the only measurement for success at Nailed It! is to strive to do better than your host and\, trust me\, you’ve got this. By the end of each session you will be able to hold your head high and\, without one iota of pretentiousness\, be able to exclaim NAILED IT! \nSupplies are provided so all you need to bring is your creative self. \n

SUMMARY:Poetry Writing Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Poetry Writing Workshop\nSecond Thursday of the month\,\n3-4:30 pm\n  \nNotes on the Art of Poetry\nI could never have dreamt that there were such goings-on\nin the world between the covers of books\,\nsuch sandstorms and ice blasts of words\,\,\,\nsuch staggering peace\, such enormous laughter\,\nsuch and so many blinding bright lights\,\nsplashing all over the pages\nin a million bits and pieces\nall of which were words\, words\, words\,\nand each of which were alive forever\nin its own delight and glory and oddity and light. \n       Dylan Thomas\n  \nPoetry writing is often referred to as the “effort to provide insight into the human spirit”. It encourages us to free our imaginations and express the human spirit in our own unique style. \nThe Fort Bragg Library Poetry Writing Workshops will include samples of the various styles and techniques of poetry writing\, displays of published works\, in-session writing exercises along with readings and discussions of individual works produced during the workshops. \nJoin us the second Thursday of the month\, 3-4:30 pm\, to find your hidden poet within! Workshops are free. For Adults and older Teens.\n\n  \n  \n \n  \n
