Music and Movement for the Masses

Andy Z engages audiences through music and movement and storytelling as he takes them on an imaginary tour of Andyland. Children are drawn in by his full cst of character voices and puppets and music in multiple genres that runs the gamut from educational to just plain silly; dance songs to lullabies, sing-a-longs to finger plays to full body movement. Pop, jazz, folk, country, hip-hop, surf, Irish and classic kids’ tunes. His quirky cast of characters include Como C Llama (Latino llama), Rasta Froggy, Sanjay Squid (Bollywood squid), and newcomer Robinella Raven.

Join us for this kid-friendly music show, July 20, 2018, 3-4 pm.

• Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music, San Francisco State University.
• Played in San Francisco Bay Area club scene as solo performer and founding member of alternative rock band, Tinman.
• A fan asked him to fill in for an ailing preschool teacher — and to sing and play with the kids — Andy loved it and so did the children, parents and teachers. Andy Z from Andyland was born!
• For the last 14 years, Andy has been making his living as a family music artist, combining his passion for music with his love of storytelling, character voices and performance.
• His mission is to enrich, educate and excite children through music.
