AMELIE

Our third and final “Romance is in the Air” feature is the 2001 film, Amelie, directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet and starring Audrey Tautou, Dominique Pinon, Jamel Debbouze, and Mathieu Kassovitz. Amelie was nominated for 5 Academy Awards including Best Foreign Language Film, Best Cinematography and Best Original Screenplay.

A young and innocent girl with her own distinctive way of looking at the world, decides to help the people living in her part of Paris to find love with amusing results. In French with English subtitles.
